The lecture will be followed by questions and discussion between the speaker and the Rt Revd Dr Peter Selby, theologian in residence at Sarum College.
Lord Griffiths is a fellow of Sarum College and international advisor with Goldman Sachs International concerned with strategic issues in the UK and Asia.
Peter Selby is the author of Challenge to a Tribal Church and Grace and Mortgage: the Language of Faith and the Debt of the World, a prescient account of what a debt-based economy does to the world, and to the language of faith.
The lecture is held annually in honour of former Sarum Fellow, Professor Roy Niblett CBE, a distinguished and influential presence in British higher education for more than 50 years.
