Pray Without Ceasing

This series offers the opportunity to learn about and experience a particular pattern of Christian prayer.

Not quite like a traditional retreat, there will be a mixture of teaching, group activity as well as time for prayer and reflection. Leaders will be experienced leaders of worship, scholars and acilitators; the College chaplain will also be available. The events are ecumenical and are open to all.

Typically, these events last for 24 hours from late morning on the first day until early afternoon on the second day.

Places are limited to 15 per session. Price per session: £120 full board

Pray Without Ceasing: Journeys of Faith

18 to 19 November

Christian worship is embodied – we kneel, stand, bow; we walk in procession, we journey to holy places.

In Journeys of Faith, we will learn about the function of ritual in worship and learn to be aware of how we use of our bodies in worship. We will explore communal journeys using the idea of pilgrimage and ‘stations’, and personal journeys using labyrinth.
