Development

Sarum College is an independent institution, and receives no regular funding from churches, government or other public funds. As such, we depend largely on the generosity of friends and benefactors to enable us to continue our work of learning, hospitality and spiritual growth.

Our historic buldings require ongoing maintenance and occasionally we need to undertake refurbishment projects.

If you value the work and facilities of Sarum College, we hope that you will be able to support us by participating in our activities, making a donation, becoming a Friend or remembering us in your will.

Many people find that a legacy will enable them to contribute at the level they would wish but are unable to achieve during their own lifetime. Legacies remain an invaluable source of support for the college, and play a major part in securing our future well-being and development.

Whatever you can offer, we are always grateful.

Wisdom Symposium, 1 to 2 May 2010

Sarum College's international symposium will consider the multifaceted role played by wisdom within Christian thought and practice and reflect on ways in which wisdom can inform the mission of the Christian churches today. Our purpose in organising such an event is to carefully discern how wisdom can help our churches to interrelate theology, spirituality and Christian practice.
