Sarum College Staff

Trustees

Sarum College Trust is an unincorporated charity regulated by a scheme approved by the Charity Commission on 15 March 2007. The original trust deed was dated the 1 April 1864.

The Bishops of Salisbury and of Bath and Wells are at all times Foundation Trustees by virtue of their office. There shall be no fewer than seven and no more than 12 additional trustees appointed by the then-existing body of trustees.

Trustees (other than the Foundation Trustees) serve for a four-year term and are then eligible for re-appointment for one further four-year term only. The trustees are responsible for controlling Sarum’s management and administration. The Principal, working with his senior management team, is responsible for Sarum’s day-to-day management.

The Trustees are chaired by The Very Reverend Dr A F Knight.
