In November 2009, the Sarum College Bookshop hosted the launch of Bordering on Faith by Fr Rodney Scholfield, a Catholic Priest in Sherbourne and a former missionary in Africa.
Bordering on Faith examines the sometimes indeterminate border zone between orthodox Christian practise and some of the popular customs that have arisen, not only in the past but within changing cultural
landscapes today. Using examples from biblical times and the early Christian centuries; as well as contemporary African and Western societies, Fr Schofield discusses how individual 'spiritual need' presents a perennial challenge to the Church.
The Cavell Room at Sarum College was overflowing for the launch of To Trust and To Love on 29 July.
Sarum College will introduce two new MA programmes, one in Faith-based Leadership and one in Theology, Imagination and Culture, in January 2011. These programmes will run alongside the two programmes currently offered, MA in Christian Spirituality and MA in Christian Liturgy.
