Teamwork is an essential gospel value, based both on the example of Jesus and on the theology and practice forged in the early church which recognised different gifts and callings in ministry and leadership.

The days are gone when a minister can survive with the metaphor of one flock, one shepherd: being a good team member and leader are essential skills.

Keith Lamdin is the principal of Sarum College. He has developed leadership training for church leaders, and acts as a leadership coach in the church, as well as charitable and health care organisations.
