TQQ: The Cosmic Christ

  • Course Dates: Tue 15 January 2019, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

The true significance of Jesus began to be explored by the early Christian church by identifying the earthly Jesus with the divine Logos spoken about in the prologue to John’s gospel.

Here Jesus is understood as the pre-existent Second Person of the Trinity who takes human form and substance in the historical Jesus of Nazareth – is such a cosmic notion of Christ intelligible today?

Advance booking not required, simply come along on the evening. For further information about Theology Quest and Questions, visit our TQQ page or contact Alison Ogden on 01722 424826 or aogden@sarum.ac.uk.
