Sing Gregorian Chant

  • Course Dates: Sat 5 November 2016, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

This day offers the chance to experience and sing Gregorian chant in a friendly context.

An entertaining, informative and enjoyable experience structured around the monastic hour services.

Using at first simple recitation in English, it includes also some of the rich heritage of more adventurous Latin chant.

This course is open to all and all are welcome – singers and those afraid to sing but fascinated by the idea of the chant and interested in cultural history.

The day will conclude with an informal performance of a sequence of chant for All Hallows.
