Song of Disciples

The Bible is littered with songs – of worship, as laments, in prophetic tones, in ecstasy, on pilgrimage, through rebellion, and many more.

This day will consider, from a theological and devotional point of view, songs from the Bible which express some discipleship journey themes and will invite participants to identify their favourite biblical songs as part of their journey.

Graham Dodds' discipleship journey has led him through the themes of the songs he has chosen to explore in this day. He Bishops’ Chaplain and Advisor in Bath & Wells, having been Discipleship team leader, Canon Treasurer in Wells Cathedral, Lay Training adviser, incumbent of a city church in Bath, and Director of Lay Ministry in a large Church in Southwark diocese. Graham trained as a musician, a singer, at Trinity College of Music, London.
