TQQ: One Church, One Faith, One Lord

  • Course Dates: Tue 13 June, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Those well known words, penned by Edward Plumptre in 1889, would soon be given energy through the movement towards ecumenism.

Their view of Christian history might be thought decidedly rosy, for the Christian community’s existence as ‘one, holy, catholic and apostolic’ had been, and would continue to be, somewhat chequered. The key question for our session will focus on the way unity has been or should be understood, how far it requires uniformity, and what space can be allowed for diversity.

Advance booking not required, simply come along on the evening.
