Rural Ministry: Learning from Chaplaincy

Rural parish ministry is often typified today by a few regular church attenders, but a continuing recognition of the role and worth of the church and particularly the priest in the wider community. Those in chaplaincy ministry have long experience of being in a similar situation in hospitals, prisons, and other environments. Western Christian Mysticism

This module explores the riches of Western Christian mystical tradition. The course begins by looking at the foundations of the tradition and moves on to consider the English Mystics, the Rhineland Mystics and the Spanish Mystics. Art, Belief and Spirituality
