Christ as Liberator: Liberation Theology and Feminism

  • Date & Time: Tuesday, 5 Mar 2013, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Please note that the date has changed from 19 February to 5 March

In our time Jesus has become both the liberator of the poor and oppressed and the liberator of women in new and foundational ways. Is it the case therefore that history has been largely ‘his story’ rather than ‘her story’, and similarly the history of the rich and famous rather than of the poor and oppressed? If so, how can Jesus make a difference to such a situation?
