Sarum Theological Lectures 2012: 2

  • Date & Time: Tuesday, 1 May 2012, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM

The Morality of New War

With the rise of asymmetric warfare, does the traditional understanding of just war theory work in the 21st century? Does human rights legislation have a place on the battlefield? And has secularization undermined the moral substructure of the British army?

With lectures on four consecutive evenings, why not come for the week and enjoy being just steps away from Salisbury Cathedral?

While you’re here, you can enjoy Sarum’s delicious meals, specialist library and
bookshop. Contact Alison Ogden for programme and accommodation details.

Price: £24 series of four; £7 per lecture
