Stories of a supernatural conception, and then pointers to resurrection-based claims about him fuel the discussion. Oh yes, and the Messiah could easily be called ‘Son of God’. - David Catchpole is a Scholar-in-Residence at Sarum College and Emeritus Professor of Theological Studies at the University of Exeter. His specialist interests centre on the New Testament, particularly the gospels and the quest of the historical Jesus.
