What is the church, and what is it for? What did Paul mean by using the term itself for the members of those early Christian congregations. We will consider the community of believers in Jesus in the Roman colony of Corinth and the practicalities of early Christian life in that city. Decisions had to be made about diet and gender, but what did those decisions turn out like?
