Conference room with Cathedral viewSarum College offers a unique and distinguished location for meetings, conferences, events and functions.

Housed in Grade 1 listed buildings in Salisbury's beautiful Cathedral Close, the College provides excellent facilities in peaceful, secluded surroundings. And yet, we are only 10 minutes from the rail and bus stations. Off-site parking is limited but can be arranged as required.

All our meeting rooms can be equipped with digital projector, laptop, OHP, flipcharts, television and DVD/video players as required. Booking enquiry

Cavell Room

Recently refurbished, this elegant meeting room on the ground floor accommodates up to 90 people in theatre/lecture seating arrangements.




Butterfield Chapel

Butterfield Chapel
This restored 19th century chapel, designed by architect William Butterfield, offers a peaceful space for group worship and discussion as well as concerts.






The College also has four smaller meeting rooms on the first floor (lift access) of the Wren building (1677), facing the Close’s North Walk and with wonderful uninterrupted views of Salisbury Cathedral.

Accommodates 10 to 20 people.

Accommodates 20 to 35 people.


Hamilton Room
Hamilton Room

Refurbished in March 2008, this meeting room accommodates 12 to 20 people.

Refurbished in April 2008, this meeting room accommodates 12 to 20 people.


Common room
Common Room and Bar
A warm and welcoming space, this room is ideal for reading the newspaper, coffee/tea breaks, a glass of wine and informal gatherings.

The enthusiastic welcome that you and your team gave us, coupled with the splendid environment you provided, enabled us to stage another very successful conference at Sarum College.
