What it’s Like to Train at Sarum College

I feel nurtured and supported by the excellent tutors and staff, as I grapple with the hard work of theology. I am constantly finding a balance between family life, study and church; a good foundation for my future life in ministry. I am finding the course challenging and rewarding. I strongly recommend it to others looking for a way to combine formational study with other commitments.

The flexibility to study at a time and place that suits me has been fantastic, with concentrated residential weekends and Spring School minimising the amount of time away from home. The variety and depth of modules have allowed me to explore and strengthen my faith and develop my relationship with God. There is a great diversity of staff and students, that all come together to form a caring, supportive and welcoming community. The depth of fellowship within the small groups, as we learn to live, worship and study together across our different traditions and from our different experiences has really struck me as to what it means to be part of the body of Christ.
