If you love Salisbury's Cathedral Close, this is the book for you.
A collaborative effort between Sue Finniss and John Elliott, this collection of images from Sue's 40 paintings in the Close is a celebration of its beauty.
"Despite living in or near Salisbury for my whole life, I have never tired of the beauty of the cathedral and the surrounding Close," writes Sue in the book's introduction.
All but four of her paintings have sold. These, along with the painting of Sarum College (which Sue kindly donated to the college's permanent collection) are on display here.
Salisbury: A Walk in the Close is published by Spire Books Ltd and is available at the Sarum College Bookshop.
The remaining paintings are:
No. 10 Malmesbury House £200
No. 23 The South Canonry £210
No. 25 The Walton Canonry £210
No. 36 Nos 26,27 and 29, The Close £195

She took early retirement from her teaching career to become a freelance artist, which she now does in addition to giving classes in watercolour painting, running art workshops and organising painting holidays in Tuscany.
John Elliott is an architectural historian and former lecturer at Reading University. He specialises in the Victorian period and churches. He lectures widely for several organisations, including Sarum College. He is currently teaching term three of "Prayer Factories: The Structural Church".
Sarum College will introduce two new MA programmes, one in Faith-based Leadership and one in Theology, Imagination and Culture, in January 2011. These programmes will run alongside the two programmes currently offered, MA in Christian Spirituality and MA in Christian Liturgy.
