Barbara Mosse will be in Sarum College Bookshop on Tuesday 25th February at 5:30pm to launch her new book ‘Welcoming the Way of the Cross’.
In today’s high-pressure, fast-paced culture, people crave space for rest and renewal, for restoration of both body and soul. ‘Welcoming the Way of the Cross’ explores how creating this space can be a part of Lenten discipline and understood as ‘hospitality’ in its broadest sense – making space to be open to God, to our selves, and to each other.
Selecting daily readings from across the Bible, Barbara Mosse shows both the blessings and the inevitable challenges that emerge as we embark on this kind of journey.
Barbara Mosse is an Anglican Priest who lectures at Sarum College. She has led retreats, prayer workshops and has written for BRF’s ‘New Daylight’ notes. She specialises in Celtic and medieval spirituality.
