Enriching Ministry: The Practice of Pastoral Supervision (2nd of 2)
- Course Dates: Wed 25 November 2015, 10:30 am to Thu 26 November 2015, 4:00 pm
This residential course is designed for anyone in pastoral ministry, lay or ordained, wishing to develop their skills and understanding of pastoral supervision.
The programme includes two two-day residentials held on Wednesday 21 to Thursday 22 October 2015 and Wednesday 25 to Thursday 26 November 2015. Each residential begins at 10.30am on the first day and finishes at 4pm on the second.

Some of the areas to be covered are:
- models of supervision
- establishing a working alliance and reviewing the supervisory process
- skills of supervision
- attending to the context in which the supervision takes place
Places are limited to 15 to facilitate an adult learning environment that blends theory and practical skills development. Participants need to have experience of being in supervision as well as supervising others. Places are offered on completion of an application process.
This course meets the current training requirements for general accreditation with APSE (Association of Pastoral Supervisors and Educators).
