2015 Magna Carta Lectures with Lord Igor Judge
- Course Dates: Thu 18 June 2015, 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Lord Igor Judge – Magna Carta and the Law.
Igor judge is one of the most highly regarded members of the British judiciary, a tireless advocate for human rights and equality before the law. He has been lauded as one of the most successful holders of his 700-year old office, namely for his skill at defending the rights of the citizens against the state, and interpreting the law fairly without fear or favour.
John Bercow has been the Speaker of the House of Commons since 2009. In 2005 he was awarded the Channel 4/Hansard Society Award for ‘Opposition MP of the Year’ in recognition of his approach to ‘good opposition’. He has had a longstanding role in encouraging Britain to lead the international community in seeking decisive action for peace and justice, especially in countries where the threat of genocide and political oppression loom large.
