TQQ: The Church: Metaphors and Models

  • Course Dates: Tue 21 May, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

From earliest times, metaphors used for the Church disclose a great deal about how the Church is understood in and of itself and in relation to its context in society.

We will consider the range of such terms, and also examine how the study of churches and sects helps us to understand the true nature of the Christian community.

Advance booking not required, simply come along on the evening. For further information about Theology Quest and Questions, visit our TQQ page or contact Alison Ogden on 01722 424826 or aogden@sarum.ac.uk.
