Reflective Journaling

  • Course Dates: Wed 24 March, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Sometimes living can feel like we are standing in a fast-flowing river.

There is so much going on. It can be difficult to hold our balance and see how the various dimensions of our lives fit together.

In a year like no other so much of our lives have been turned upside down. Our work, our families and communities have changed and faced challenges in the face of the uncertainty and anxieties of Covid 19. This day will offer an opportunity for us see how journaling might help us to reflect on the shape of our living in the context of our work and world. We should try to capture elements of experience, and explore how we think about what has happened and learn from it.

Participants will be offered practical advice and support in developing a personal style of journaling. There will be an opportunity to write and reflect during the day and share that in small groups. There are no assumptions about previous experiences but participants will be asked to consider the spiritual dimension of our life together.

‘The breadth yet “light touch” within the delivery of material, sensitively providing room for individual practice and response and conversational sharing. Gave the day a very useful and encouraging extra dimension. The course fitted with where I am on my life journey.’
