A Day with W.H. Auden
- Course Dates: Sat 18 January 2020, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Auden has been described as ‘the first poet writing in English who felt at home in the twentieth century’.
But where did this position him when it came to religious belief. What do his poems, so varied in tone and subjects, have to offer contemporary faith? We will look at the wide range of Auden’s poetry, his conversion to Christianity and his consequent spiritual interrogation of the world.
