(Postponed) Book Launch: Accompaniment, Community and Nature by Jonathan Herbert
- Course Dates: Wed 25 March 2020, 5:30 pm

Unfortunately this event has been postponed, we will endeavor to re-schedule later in the year.
Join us to hear Jonathan Herbert talk about his new book, Accompaniment, Community and Nature.
Has the art of accompaniment been lost in Western culture? Could non-judgemental accompaniment be the answer to rising levels of isolation and loneliness? Could spending time with others from different or marginalised backgrounds reduce feelings of ‘otherness’ and lead to a more open, trusting society?
Providing a counter-argument to a consumerist, fast-paced and individualistic life, this book represents the power of community and spending time with people in an unpressured and open way.
Revd Jonathan Herbert is the Chaplain to Gypsies, Travellers and Showmen within the Salisbury Diocese and a member of the Hilfield Friary in Dorset.
This will be an afternoon book launch, from 5:30 pm
The event is free and open to all but booking is required. Contact bookshop@sarum.ac.uk
