Christian Faith and Ethical Living
- Course Dates: Sat 18 March 2017, 9:30 am to 6:00 pm

This course has as its central motif the notion that Christians are called to be certain sorts of people in the world.
Because of this distinctiveness, and because they are formed by specific stories found in the Bible and tradition, Christians respond to the moral issues of the 21st Century in particular ways. Here we will engage with some of these issues (beginning and end of life issues, sexuality, and the care of creation), looking at both Christian-specific and non-Christian-specific responses to them.
This Saturday teaching day offers the chance to learn alongside Sarum’s ordination and licensed lay ministry candidates. The day will consist of four sessions led by one or more of our Sarum staff and, on occasion, visiting lecturers.
The day is ideally suited to be used as a refresher, to stimulate new thinking, or as a ‘taster’ to what it is like to study at Sarum College. The day begins at 9.30am and finishes at 6pm. Participants are given 90 minutes free time at the beginning of the afternoon.
