Ministry Open Morning
- Course Dates: Sat 8 May, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
This is an informal virtual session for prospective students to understand more about the Sarum Centre for formation in Ministry. We’ll talk about our base at no 19 in Salisbury Cathedral Close, our commitment to hospitality and welcome, the wider generative learning offer alongside ministry programmes, and how Sarum is embedded in the Close and the city of Salisbury.
We will also cover the mode of training and the distinctiveness of how we offer our learning in context, our learning in college and our learning online as personal learning. We shall try to give life to the dynamic, interconnected and grounded approach to formation which both equips and inspires people for ministry.
In the Formation for Ministry community, ordinands train alongside others, including specifically those being formed for licensed or authorised lay ministry, and also those who are in ministry and want to develop their professional qualifications.
The 2021-2022 academic year commences with the Summer School in August 2021.
If you’re hoping to start training in 2021, and want to plan ahead, view this link for the Sarum College Formation in Ministry Summer School and training weekend schedule for the 2021-22 academic year .
