Reconciliation: Good News for Church and World
- Course Dates: Tue 15 November 2016, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Reconciliation is sought by many, both inside and outside the Church, and is understood in many ways.
This day will explore the significance of reconciliation for the Christian faith and show that the vocation of the Church, a body that is both reconciled and in the process of being reconciled, is to model reconciliation in the many contexts in which it is situated.
We shall consider the significance of memory, forgiveness, otherness and gift and how victimhood is a hindrance to the journey of reconciliation. Participants are asked to reflect on their own experiences of reconciliation prior to the day.
