- Course Dates: Mon 24 May, 1:00 pm to Thu 27 May, 6:00 pm
This four-day online course will take a literary approach to scriptural narratives, considering the literary lens and interpretive approaches (and their implications) that are suggested by treating biblical stories as art.
Taking literary considerations such as plot, setting and character, this course will also consider poetic re-tellings and engagements with scripture, psychoanalytic readings of texts, literary usage of biblical mythology, as well as consideration of the narrative function in human communities.
Daily teaching sessions run from 1pm – 6pm (BST)
For US and Canadian participants, the timing is 8am – 1pm (EST)
