The Literature of World War One (4th of 5)
- Course Dates: Mon 24 November 2014, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

The unprecedented destructiveness of the First World War led to the creation of more literature than any other war involving Britain before or since.
After an introductory consideration of the treatment of war in literature prior to 1914, these series of evening lectures will focus on a range of writing, especially of poetry, during the years of the First World War, both in the fields of action and on the Home Front.
