TQQ: Paul and His Legacy
- Course Dates: Tue 21 June 2016, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

In the aftermath of Paul’s Christian career as missionary and theologian it was unavoidable for each and every branch of the Christian Church to take a stance in relation to his convictions and influence.
The three synoptic gospels do it, Acts does it, but maybe some of the letters attributed to Paul but doubtfully written by him are specially interesting as sings of what happened among those who wished to be faithful – as they saw it! – to Pauline Christianity. We will check what happened to Paul in the hands of his admirers and his critics.
And that brings us to the question of any legacy he may leave to contemporary Christians. Given the ebb and flow of Christian history, and its effect on the perception of Paul, can we safely let him out of the theological museum to walk and talk with contemporary Christians?
