TQQ: Faithful Living: Models of Christian Ethics
- Course Dates: Tue 12 May 2015, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Christians are agreed that following Christ involves behaviour as well as belief.
How that works out in practice has been widely debated through the centuries, from Jesus’ encounter with the rich young man or Paul’s dealings with the Church in Corinth, to today’s debates about the use of force or complex bioethical dilemmas. To behave ethically, do we focus on individual dilemmas or look to our broader life-choices about how we shape our lives? Do we focus on Biblical commands and our beliefs about human nature as timeless guides to behaviour? Or do we look to the broader teachings of love within our cultural context to discern the correct ethical response?
