Witness: 4th Century Pilgrimage to the Holy Land
- Course Dates: Thu 6 July 2017, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

What was it like to go on pilgrimage to the fourth century Holy Land, so soon after the Roman Empire tolerated Christianity? What was early Christian worship like?
In her series of lectures on early Christian history, Maggie Guillebaud joins the perceptive Spanish nun Egeria, and her anonymous precursor The Pilgrim of Bordeaux, as they explore the lands of the Bible, eager for sites of Biblical mention, and experience early Christian worship in Jerusalem and beyond.
