Working well with children and young people in rural ministry

Helping children and young people grow in faith and discipleship can be a challenge when they are few in number and there are few, if any, leaders. We will look at the importance of developing and sharing a vision; of building relationships, of growing leaders (of all ages); of making use of new technologies whilst refurbishing older approaches. Is Muddy Church the answer? How can rural churches become more inclusive and involving of all ages? What small changes can we make to our Sunday worship without alienating more traditional folk? Bring your questions and problems. Bring your ideas and solutions. Together we will share our concerns and resources. Of course, ideas for evangelism and mission will also bubble up during our discussions so come along even if you do not have any youngsters to nurture at the moment. Why not invite someone else from your church family to experience the enthusiasm and possibilities for this rewarding area of ministry?
