Some of our courses are residential although those who travel a distance to attend a course may want to stay in college before or after a course and benefit from the discounted education rate.
Sarum College has 40 en-suite bedrooms with some having lovely views looking over at Salisbury Cathedral and the Cathedral Close.
Those planning an extended period of residence might like to stay in one of two Baker Suites which has a separate sitting area. Please note that these rooms are highly sought after so it’s best to book well in advance.
Please note that Sarum College is temporarily closed for residential and B&B stays. We will keep you updated as restrictions ease, so be sure to follow us on social media (twitter) (Instagram) or subscribe to our monthly newsletter here.

Amazingly kept old edifice! Most of the structure is maintained in character. The doors to the rooms are the heavy old wood. The room ceilings are low. Even the room key speaks of its history.
Some of the positives: Sensational view of the grand cathedral! Immaculate cleanliness of the entire building! Very quiet atmosphere! Cordial welcome! Excellent breakfast! Reasonably priced!

The rooms are very well furnished with good quality bedding, towels etc. Mine was one with a view of the Cathedral spire, in the Victorian part of the college, and had great period charm with a huge bay window, fireplace, and compact modern en suite, with a great shower. True there was no TV, but this was not missed and means the rooms are all quiet. The wi-fi is excellent, so you can always watch TV on your tablet or lap top if you want to.
Breakfast is great value. It was included in the price of my room, and includes continental and hot choices. I had beautiful scrambled egg cooked to order. All is taken in a refectory style dining room, where you can sit alone if you wish or interact with others on a shared table – which as a single traveller I found very warm and welcoming.
