From 1 March, the Sarum College Bookshop will open on selected Saturdays, 10am to 4pm and during the week, 9am to 4.45pm.
‘Shopping patterns are changing,’ says Emily Button, who manages the Sarum College Bookshop. ‘We want to be in the shop when our customers are to offer the best customer service. Whether you just want to pop in for a browse, or you’ve got a list to email or phone in – rest assured you’ll have personal attention from us.’
The monthly bookshop bulletin will have a three-month list of Saturdays the shop will be open. These will generally coincide with those weekends when there’s a course or conference in College.
Sarum College Bookshop is Salisbury’s only independent bookseller, welcoming all book-lovers. The shop carries a wide range of stock, including novels and local interest titles, as well as cards and gifts. Staff are happy to order books on any subject, including out-of-print titles.
The shop has won a number of awards. Named the 2017 British Book awards regional winner, it is also the exclusive supplier for the Salisbury Literary Festival’s adult events.
The Saturday dates we’re open from 1 March to 1 June 2019 (hours 10am to 4pm) are 9 March, 16 March, 23 March, 6 April, 11 May and 18 May.
