Sarum College Library: 19 June Update

Dear Sarum College library users

Although our buildings at 19 The Close, Salisbury remain closed to the public, we are now able to post books to you and to offer a limited click and collect service.  At the moment, the librarian is only in College on Wednesdays so you will need to collect your books then.

You are now able to reserve all books via the library catalogue (click the ‘Reserve’ button and enter the borrower number on your library card and your PIN) or send an email to the library.

All loans have been automatically renewed until 31 July so please continue to keep hold of your books. There’s no need to post anything back to us as there won’t be anyone to receive them.

Finally, I wonder if you might be able to help us? Like other charitable organisations, we are facing an unprecedented financial crisis. Months of bookings for our short course programme, accommodation and catering have been cancelled — thousands of pounds of revenue we rely on to run our courses and maintain the buildings. We have been heartened by the generosity of those who have made regular giving arrangements or donations in recent days to support us through this difficult period. If you are able to help, we would be extremely grateful for whatever you can manage. Thank you. Please see our Friends of Sarum College page for details.

Best wishes, Jayne
