While Exploring Theology is a two-year course, it is designed so that students can join in at any time. Course overview
Exploring Theology’s Year A focuses on gaining tools and understanding for rigorous, imaginative, faithful and fruitful encounter with the Scriptures.
This Autumn Term explored the Hebrew Scriptures known to Christians as the Old Testament, then the Winter Term explored the New Testament.
The Spring Term starts on 26 April explores further how we find a diversity of ways to live with the Bible, looking at how context, worldviews, the arts, and culture shape how we read and understand the text. There are 10 session held online Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9pm. The final session is 28 June 2022.
Sessions are recorded and readings are available to registered students via the online student portal, SarumLearn.
Registration is open until the fourth session on 17 May. Please contact the course leader Dr Jayme Reaves (jreaves@sarum.ac.uk) if you are booking this course after the first session on 26 April.
