About the Exploring the Nature of Spiritual Need course
All human beings have spiritual needs. These needs relate to what it means to be human and how we make sense of life. They can be acutely felt or experienced at times of crisis. They can be experienced at moments of surprise, joy, gratitude or love.
This online study morning will introduce participants to some of the main thinkers who have sought to define and explore what spiritual need means for us. We will explore the ideas of Elizabeth MacKinlay; John Swinton; Ira Progoff and Steve Nolan.
We will also make some connections between these writers and definitions and our own lives asking how we might enable ourselves and others to understand the nature of spiritual need.
