About the What is Successful Ageing? course
To age is to be human. It is part of our condition and the inevitability of our destiny as human beings.
Individuals age in different ways. We tell different stories about what it might mean to age well. In the marketplace of advice, a number of thinkers and writers share their wisdom about negotiating the geography of growing older.
In this process of ageing, there are some important theological and spiritual questions that we might address as part of our aspiration to live well and to flourish throughout the span of years.
This day course with James Woodward will explore the nature of ageing and invite participants into conversation.
It will offer participants with some key reading in this area and resources for further conversation and reflection in the context of both church and community.
