About the Understanding wellbeing and flourishing in ministry course
Every sector of society has been affected by the pandemic.
It has reshaped the nature of work and our experience of the workplace. It has challenged established patterns of thinking and practice. It has sometimes left us feeling rather vulnerable and even anxious.
This day will offer all participants an opportunity to explore what well-being and flourishing in ministry might look like. It will draw on the research conducted by Dr Liz Graveling from Ministry Development Team and their innovative and ground-breaking Living Ministry project.
Together with James Woodward, Liz will facilitate some shared conversation and reflection within a safe environment.
The day will also offer some practical resources to enable ministers to put into practice some of the shared learning.
Dr Liz Graveling
is an experienced qualitative and mixed methods researcher with a background in international development and religious studies.
Areas of research include religion & development, clergy flourishing & wellbeing, gender & ordained ministry and theological education & formation.
