A 2003 recording of Salisbury Cathedral Close at dawn is a happy reminder of the late Sister Mairead Quigley, and of the wonder of this special space in central Salisbury.
“This was a magical experience!” she commented at the time. “The morning was beautiful, with a clear blue sky. Being there was a prayer – no need for words or thoughts… one of those moments when simply being present was an unforgettable gift.”
