Sarum’s setting in Salisbury’s Cathedral Close means you have the best of the modern and the medieval.

Sarum College is a five-minute walk from the High Street with shops, cafes and a twice-weekly market. There are excellent cultural venues within the Close:  Salisbury Museum, The Rifles Berkshire and Wiltshire Museum and Arundells (Sir Edward Heath’s former home).

Just beyond the Close walls you’ll find Salisbury Playhouse, Salisbury Arts Centre, and the Odeon Cinema. The World Heritage Site of Stonehenge is an easy bus journey.

The medieval walls are still locked at night so beauty of the 13th cathedral and the peace of the 80-acre Close is all yours.

Forty-one of our 53 guest bedrooms are ensuite. Wren bedrooms at the front of the College have uninterrupted views of the Cathedral, several others have lovely views overlooking the rooftops of the Close and spire. Rooms are single, double and twin; all have tea and coffee-making facilities, and a hot breakfast is freshly cooked each morning. None of the rooms have televisions. There is free wifi throughout the buildings.

The lift gives access to all the floors. There is a common room with easy chairs and licensed bar for guest use, as well as a specialist library open to the public.
