Sarum College is a centre for study and research where our passion is learning that nourishes the human spirit.
The Sarum community offers welcoming space and time for all those who aspire to grow in wisdom and courage.
Our courses, conferences, and facilities are open to all. Founded in 1995, the College is based in historic grade 1-listed buildings with a heritage of theological education stretching back more than 150 years in Salisbury’s Cathedral Close.
Postgraduate programmes are validated by the University of Winchester and can lead to a postgraduate certificate, postgraduate diploma or an MA degree. Some places are set aside for those who wish to attend postgraduate modules without seeking a qualification.
Short courses range from short evening lectures to four-day residentials and plenty in between. The content also ranges widely, from academic to experiential to leisurely.
We also offer a range of ministry training programmes validated by Durham University and students can choose full-time, part-time or practice-based study and training.
MA and PG Dip awards in the Theology, Ministry and Mission are also available.
These courses create opportunities for all to learn, to think, to speak and to act with greater theological confidence.
When it is safe to do so, Sarum hosts a number of special events throughout the year. The College’s beautiful location opposite Salisbury Cathedral, comfortable rooms, meeting spaces and excellent food offer a special environment for any occasion.
Within the college is a library with an outstanding collection of more than 40,000 books covering all denominations.
Sarum College’s education, accommodation and services are available to all, whether you’re studying on one of our courses, staying the night as a bed and breakfast guest, hiring one of our meeting rooms or just popping in to enjoy one of our fresh home made meals.
