Dear friends
We are all having to make difficult decisions to do everything we can to help limit the spread of coronavirus.
For us at Sarum College this now means that our learning programmes validated by the University of Durham and the University of Winchester are going to be delivered online. We will continue to support our students as they pursue their studies with us, and will be in contact about these arrangements.
However, as of 24 March 2020, our buildings at 19 The Close, Salisbury, will be closed to the public in accordance with the government’s social distancing guidelines. This means that the Sarum College Bookshop, residential accommodation and catering services will cease until further notice. We had hoped to continue to fulfil online and telephone book orders by post but the public health risks posed by doing so makes this untenable.
Rest assured that we are working closely with our colleagues on the Sarum College Board of Trustees about financial planning and organisational development to take measures to secure the College’s future.
In the meantime, we will continue to engage with our community of learning and the wider public via digital technology.
So please keep well and stay in touch – we need each other. If you would like to write to me directly, please do so by email: jww@sarum.ac.uk

PS Would you consider making a donation to Sarum College to help our work continue to thrive? Like many other organisations, Sarum College is facing financial hardship given the scale of cancellations for all of our short course, accommodation and conference bookings in the coming months. We would be extremely grateful if you are able to support our work through regular giving or even a one-off donation. Details on our website here
