3 March 2022
Just a week left to register for the Society for the Study of Theology (SST) 70th annual conference, entitled The End of the World, to be held at the University of Warwick at the end of this month.
The conference theme is being interpreted as a reference either to the world coming to an end, or to the world’s orientation to an end. The conference will address this double theme in the context of Christian scripture, doctrine, practice, identity, and theological reflection.
Scholars from ethnic minority groups are invited to a bursary scheme to cover much of the cost of attending the conference. As a partner in the scheme, Sarum College will fund a top-up to the bursary for any students and other members of the Sarum College learning community. Further details about the bursary scheme here.
The conference will be held 28 to 30 March 2022. View the provisional conference programme
Plenary speakers will include Estrelda Alexandra, Paul Nimmo, Michelle Fletcher, Judith Wolfe, and incoming SST President David Clough will be giving his presidential address.
