The Cavell Room was full to bursting on Monday evening (6 July) as Salisbury welcomed the acclaimed author Barbara Brown Taylor and queued for a quick chat while she signed her books.
In her latest book, Learning to Walk in the Dark, Brown Taylor suggests we consider the value of dark places and times. In doing so, we might discover that the dark makes it possible to sense God’s presence around us in new ways – guiding us through things seen and unseen, teaching us to find our footing in times of uncertainty.
