Theology, Ministry and Mission MA Pathways (indicative)

Home Theology, Ministry and Mission MA Pathways (indicative)

This programme offers some flexibility in terms of module choices, including the opportunity for some independent study and research, but there are compulsory modules, and some modules do not run every year. Below is an outline of the MA pathway options for the academic year 2025/2026.

Independent three-year part-time MA – starting Sept 2025

  • Students study three modules or 60 credits per year
  • Research and Reflection: Resources and Methods is a compulsory module and highly recommended in Year 1
  • In consultation with the programme leader, students may choose to study an Independent Learning Project (Long) [TMM43920] in place of one of the taught modules

Module Dates for 2025-2026 (Indicative)

To note:

  1. The deadline date for your module assignment is 4pm on a Tuesday, and is the final day of the module i.e. 10 Nov – 3 Feb, the deadline is 4pm Tuesday 3 February.
  2. Christmas Holiday 22 December 2025 – 2 January 2026; Easter Holiday 30 March – 10 April 2026 (Easter day 5 April 2026)
  3. There may be some overlap between module start-and-end dates. This is due to extended start-and-end dates for the independent pathway, to allow for greater flexibility. Assignment extensions are possible due to personal or professional circumstances.
  4. Most modules have one Saturday teaching day and six weekly online seminars, usually Thursday at 7pm. At this stage seminars dates and times are indicative and may change.
  5. The college aims to return assignment marks and comments to students 4 weeks after the submission date.
