Sarum College has appointed The Revd Anna Bishop as Programme Leader for the Short Courses and Exploring Theology programme.
“Anna is an experienced Methodist minister who is passionate about good theology shaping our view of the world and the place of Christian presence in it,” says The Revd Canon Professor James Woodward, Principal of Sarum College.
“We have been delighted and challenged by her insight, wisdom and reflexivity. It will be good to have an ecumenical dimension to our academic faculty. She brings into our space a particular interest in disability theology.
“We look forward to working with Anna to further develop our Programme of Short Courses and Exploring Theology.”
“I have been immensely privileged to spend the last year working in the Sarum Centre for Formation in Ministry and am delighted to have the opportunity to continue to contribute to the talented team at Sarum College doing so much imaginative and critically engaged work,” says Anna. “I’m looking forward to building on the energetic and creative work done by colleagues to develop the Sarum Short Courses and Exploring Theology Programme to resource Christians to serve the present age.”
Anna will assume the role in January 2025.
