Faith in Action: Living out the Gospel of Justice course
“Faith without action is dead.” (James 2: 26) Come and revitalise and energise your faith by discovering new ways to live it out in action!
This course will look at what it means to put our faith into action in a world scarred by injustice. Participants will be invited to explore living the Gospel of justice through: our roots and motivations as justice-seekers; the interplay of activism with spirituality; and the practices of justice-seeking. The course will be interactive and engaging, involving a mixture of input, discussion and reflection, as well as some practical activities. There is no prior knowledge or experience required.

Rachel Lampard has worked for many years to enable churches to engage with issues of social justice. She is currently the Director for Social Justice and Social Action for the Methodist Church in Britain, and served as the elected Vice-President of the Methodist Conference in Britain between 2016-17.
Rachel has also spent over a decade working for the Gambling Commission. She is a trustee of the youth work charity, Worth Unlimited, and Chair of Governors at an east London secondary school.
Hannah Fremont-Brown is the Justice-Seeking Church Officer for the Methodist Church in Britain. She previously coordinated Let’s End Poverty, a movement of people united behind a vision of the future where poverty can’t keep anyone down. She is passionate about supporting churches and Christians to campaign and walk alongside our communities for justice. She has also been an intern and Campaigns and Church Engagement Officer with the Joint Public Issues Team.
